The Story behind the painting as told by the person who commissioned the painting: "The beautiful original hangs in my living room in honor of my son Jeff, who died suddenly two years ago. I gave Mona no guidance except that I wanted a cardinal and she created this incredible work of art. The picture online does not do it justice. It is gorgeous in person. It makes me happy other families will have her beautiful cardinal to remind them of someone special❤️"
